Scrumptiously Delicious Holiday Appetizer

Savory Parmesan Bites



1 pkg Debbie’s Parmesan Herb Dip Mix
1 pkg. (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 cans (8 oz. each) refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
1 red pepper, chopped
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley

Heat oven to 350°F. Beat cream cheese and Debbie’s Parmesan Herb Dip Mix with mixer until well blended. Separate dough into 8 rectangles; seal seams. Spread with cream cheese mixture; top with peppers and parsley. Fold each rectangle lengthwise into thirds to enclose filling; cut into 4 squares. Place, seam-sides down, on baking sheet; top with remaining Parmesan.

Bake 13 to 15 min. or until golden brown.

Creamy Spinach-Stuffed Mushrooms

Creamy Spinach-Stuffed Mushrooms

1 pkg. (6 oz) stuffing mix for chicken
1-1/2 cups hot water
40 fresh mushrooms (2 lb.)
2 Tbsp. butter
1 pkg Debbie’s Creamy Spinach w/Roasted Garlic Dip Mix
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese


Heat oven to 400ºF.

Mix stuffing mix and water in large bowl; set aside. Remove stems from mushrooms; chop stems. Melt butter in skillet on medium heat. Add chopped stems; cook and stir until tender. Add to prepared stuffing with Debbie’s Creamy Spinach w/Roasted Garlic Dip Mix and cheeses; mix well.

Spoon into mushroom caps. Place, filled-sides up, in shallow pan.

Bake 20 min. or until mushrooms are tender and filling is heated through.

Dazzling Holiday Wreath Platter

Dazzle your guest with this tasty centerpiece.

Holiday Appetizer Wreath


1 pkg Debbie’s Lemon Dill Dip Mix 
2 tubes (8 ounces each) refrigerated crescent rolls
1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup sour cream
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
1-1/2 cups chopped fresh broccoli florets
1 cup finely chopped celery
1/2 cup finely chopped sweet red pepper
Celery leaves

Directions

Remove crescent dough from packaging (do not unroll). Cut each tube into eight slices. Arrange in an 11-in. circle on an ungreased 14-in. pizza pan.

Bake at 375° for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown. Cool for 5 minutes before carefully removing to a serving platter; cool completely.

In a small bowl, beat the cream cheese, sour cream, Debbie’s Lemon Dill Dip Mix and garlic powder until smooth. Spread over wreath; top with broccoli, celery and red pepper. Form a bow garnish with celery leaves.

Holiday Beef Bites


1 pkg Debbie’s Horsey Bacon Dip Mix
4 ounces cream cheese, softened
6 tablespoons sour cream
16 slices snack rye bread
1/4 pound sliced deli roast beef
8 grape tomatoes, halved
16 sprigs fresh parsley, stems removed
Dash each salt and pepper

Directions

In a small bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream and Debbie’s Horsey Bacon Dip Mix. Spread over bread slices. Top each with beef, a tomato half and a parsley sprig. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.

'Tis the Season for Appetizers

The week before Christmas means last minute chaotic hunt for some delicious appetizers for your guests. Don't worry, Debbie's Dips has taken the hectic hunt out of the picture and will give you daily ideas for quick, easy and delicious appetizers that your family and friends will enjoy.

BLT Bites


16 to 20 large cherry tomatoes
1 Tablespoon Debbie’s Smokin’ Bac-O-Mato Dip Mix
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/3 cup chopped green onions
3 tablespoons finely grated cheddar cheese
2 tablespoons snipped fresh parsley

Directions

Cut a thin slice off of each tomato top. Scoop out and discard pulp. Invert the tomatoes on a paper towel to drain.

In a small bowl, combine all remaining ingredients. Spoon into tomatoes. Refrigerate for several hours.
