Well….It’s that time again! Yep…Football Season and that means TAILGATING PARTIES! Whooo Hooo! Go Team! What a great time to take advantage of Debbie's quick and easy dip mixes. As I am sure you know these mixes are great for dips but work wonderfully well as grilling marinades and easy peasy desserts. Spice up your next tailgating party by adding our Caramelized Onion and Roasted Garlic Dip Mix in your ground beef before grilling your burgers! You won’t believe how this will enhance the flavor of your burger and you won’t need all those messy condiments.
Not doing burgers, well then, try out our Hot & Spicy Mexican Dip Mix as a marinade on those chicken breasts. This is a wonderful way to make the fajita flavors in a kabob with your onions and peppers. Once your kabobs are cooked, empty the skewers into a warm tortilla and top with sour cream. Yumm!
Tailgating in Phoenix at this time of the year means we are still in triple digits and looking forward to anything that can cool us down. Try this new light and refreshing dessert at your next party. Pickup a pre-made angel food cake at your local grocery store along with 8oz of cream cheese and 16oz of frozen whipped topping. Let the cream cheese come to a very soft room temperature and let the whipped topping thaw in the fridge. Once the cream cheese is very soft, mix it together with the whipped topping on medium speed. When the contents are fully combined, divide your mixture in half. Add 1 package of Debbie's Creamsicle Cheesecake Mix in half of your cream cheese/whipped topping mix. Add 1 package of Debbie's Luscious Lime Cheesecake Mix in the other half. Cut the angel food cake in half (so that you have a top and bottom). Partially hollow out the ring of each half (making a tunnel around the inside of the cake). Fill the tunnels with one of the above cheesecake mixes. Place the cake halves back together and frost with the other flavored cheesecake mix. Place in your plastic cake holder and refrigerate until you are ready to eat. TOUCHDOWN!
